TROTs running club was formed in October 1986, with some of the founding members still being involved in the club today.
We have particularly strong veterans and ladies teams, including Welsh internationals and champions at distances from 5k to the Marathon. However, the club includes runners of all abilities, so there is always someone to train with at a speed and distance to suit you :-)
On the site, you will find an events diary and results of recent races, as well as news and links to local running clubs and other relevant websites.
TROTs offer various sessions from Welsh Athletics qualified running coaches and run leaders. These sessions are are open to all members, as well as anyone who would like to come along - whether that be people that are just starting out on their running journey, to more experienced runners looking to improve technique and efficiency. No matter what your ability we have a training night suited to your needs.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic all group training sessions will be limited to 30 persons. Please take note of the following points:

The club meets every Thursday night at 19:00 in the Leisure Centre in St Clears, with runners coming from Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. We welcome new members, and full details of how to join the club are available on our Join Us page. The club night is a chance for runners to complete various distances, from 3 miles up to 10 mile depending on their needs. |
